The game is played with 2 teams of 2 players.
The boards will be 27 feet apart (front to front).
Team partners face each other from opposite boards.
Play starts at either board with all 8 bags.
Each team plays with a set of 4 bags – each team has their own color bags.
Opponents alternate tosses until all 8 bags are played.
The round is scored.
SCORING
The first team to get 21 points – or the highest score after 10 minutes, wins. If 21 points have not been scored in 10 minutes, the 2 players throwing will finish their throws. The team with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, the teams will continue until there is a clear winner.
A team earns 1 point for bags on the board – the bag cannot hit the ground and then bounce on the board or be touching the ground. Bags that hit the ground first must be removed from the board before play continues.
A team earns 3 points for bags that go completely into the hole. Bags that are hanging in the hole only counts for one point. If the opponent knocks your bag into the hole you still get the 3 points. Teams playing will keep their own score – in agreement with their opponent. If there is a question about scoring the round, the official will have the final say. Teams not complying with the official will be eliminated.
The score is the difference in team totals.
Payout – Entry Fees will payback prize amount to be determined by the number of teams entered, number of places paid will also be determined by the number of teams entered.
